Who we are

We are a diverse group of tech workers living in CT, who banded together after the state awarded $14 million to Infosys, to help the company open an office in Hartford.

Infosys is promising 1,000 new jobs – but the state is not requiring that those jobs go to American citizens. Infosys has a long history of discriminating against Americans. The company’s US workforce is made up almost entirely of workers from India, who are here on an alphabet soup of Visas (e.g., L-1, B-1, OPT [workers in this program don’t have to be paid at all]). Note: Infosys was fined a record $34 million for fraud and abuse of the Visa system.

The deal is not only a huge waste of taxpayer dollars but it will result in the destruction of thousands and thousands of jobs held by CT residents. Like it’s done so many times before, Infosys will uses its low-cost workforce to undercut American workers at corporations all over the state and force them into the unemployment line.

Can you believe the state actually considers this economic development?

We’re looking for some quality people who are willing to take sides and join the fight against Infosys – and the rest of the India-based IT outsourcing firms. They have a long history of discriminating against Americans – and have forced hundreds of thousands of Americans into the unemployment line.

Our goal is recover this money – and give it back to the taxpayers!

We’ll be rallying in Hartford on January 26 (more details to follow) to call out Lamont – and the rest of the leaders that sold us out.

Remember, you don’t have a right to complain unless you do something about it! This is our chance to tell our elected officials that this deal is wrong for CT.
